

We Funded It Announces Black History Month Speaker Series to Highlight Black Entrepreneurship
Montreal (Quebec), December 10, 2021 — We Funded It, a Canadian non-profit organization founded in 2020 and lead by a team of Black women to assist Black students and entrepreneurs in achieving their goals through funding and mentorship, has announced a 3-night intimate speaker series called The Diary of a Founder that will be held in Montreal during Black History Month.
Each Saturday night from February 5 to 19, 2022, attendees will be introduced to successful guest speakers who will share their entrepreneurial journey as well as lessons learned from their years of experience. The theme of each evening will revolve around diversity in the technology, beauty, and art industries. These themes mirror the career paths of the first entrepreneurs that have been funded by the organisation.
Confirmed speakers are Lightspeed founder Dax Dasilva, Gina Delisme (title), Schamma Rosidor (co-founder), Magda Frederick (founder) and Danielle Cox (title).

We Funded It is a collective of Black volunteers supporting students and entrepreneurs to create wealth and impact the Black community across Canada. Its Digital Ecosystem leverages remote collaboration and reduces operational expenses ensuring maximum donation to funded projects.
